Overnight Buckwheat Turmeric Mango Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white buckwheat groats
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • 1-2 cheeks of ripe sweet mango or 1/2 medium banana
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 pitted date
  • Almond milk (as needed)

Preparation

  1. Rinse the white buckwheat groats well.

  2. Soak 1 cup of rinsed white buckwheat groats overnight.

  3. In the morning, purée the soaked buckwheat with a pinch of turmeric, 1-2 cheeks of ripe sweet mango or 1/2 medium banana, pinch of black pepper, one pitted date, and enough almond milk to thin it out.

  4. Top with nuts and berries as desired.

  5. Enjoy your delicious healthy breakfast.
