Overnight Buckwheat Turmeric Mango Porridge
Ingredients
- 1 cup white buckwheat groats
- Pinch of turmeric
- 1-2 cheeks of ripe sweet mango or 1/2 medium banana
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 pitted date
- Almond milk (as needed)
Preparation
Rinse the white buckwheat groats well.
Soak 1 cup of rinsed white buckwheat groats overnight.
In the morning, purée the soaked buckwheat with a pinch of turmeric, 1-2 cheeks of ripe sweet mango or 1/2 medium banana, pinch of black pepper, one pitted date, and enough almond milk to thin it out.
Top with nuts and berries as desired.
