Baked Apple Oats Crumble

Ingredients

Crumble

  • 100g oats
  • 50g ground almonds
  • 50g coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp water

Filling

  • 3 cooking apples
  • some leftover apple juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Stew the cooking apples with leftover apple juice and maple syrup until soft

  2. Mix the crumble ingredients together to form a topping

  3. Assemble the dish by placing the stewed apples in a baking dish and covering with the crumble mixture

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at around 180°C until the topping is golden and crispy

  5. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla soya yoghurt or custard
