Orange Almond Chocolate Cookies (Vegan + Gluten-Free)

Ingredients

  • 125 g oats
  • 65 g almond flour
  • 2 ripe bananas (or 250 g applesauce)
  • 50 g almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Juice of 1/2 orange + zest
  • 75 g chopped almonds
  • 150 g dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork. Add oats, almond flour, almond butter, cinnamon, orange juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix until a thick, slightly sticky dough forms.

  3. Form 7-10 cookies with your hands, then dip each one into the chopped almonds.

  4. Bake the cookies for 15-18 minutes, then let them cool for 10 minutes.

  5. Melt the chocolate and dip each cookie halfway. Add some orange zest and refrigerate.
