4 Ingredient Oatmeal Cookies for Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup quick oats (haven’t tested any other oats)
  • 1 cup peanut butter - use any nut butter or sun butter if you’re nut free
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 egg

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. In a bowl, whisk 1 egg

  3. Then add in the oatmeal, peanut butter, and maple syrup.

  4. Mix well with a spatula.

  5. Fold in any add ins you'd want- nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit.

  6. Take a cookie scoop and add to a greased baking sheet.

  7. Take a fork then flatten the cookie.

  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes, let cool, then eat!

  9. I added more peanut butter on top because you can never have enough! Pair with Greek yogurt for a little protein and maybe some berries or a banana
