Healthy Homemade Choco-Fudge Brownies
Ingredients
- 125 g 80% dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, softened at room temperature
- 3 medium eggs, room temperature
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- Pinch of salt
Optional add-ins
- 1/2 - 1 cup dark chocolate chunks and chips
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together over a water bath.
Whisk the eggs and sugar until you get a fluffy mixture for 5-7 minutes.
Switch the beater to low-speed and drizzle the chocolate while beating the brownie mix.
Stop once the ingredients have combined.
Sift the dry ingredients into the same bowl and fold them in with a spatula.
Stir the batter until you get a velvety smooth consistency.
Pour the mix into your baking pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chunks or chips.
Place it in the oven.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until done.
Slice and serve with seasonal fruits.
