Healthy Homemade Choco-Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

  • 125 g 80% dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, softened at room temperature
  • 3 medium eggs, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • Pinch of salt

Optional add-ins

  • 1/2 - 1 cup dark chocolate chunks and chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together over a water bath.

  3. Whisk the eggs and sugar until you get a fluffy mixture for 5-7 minutes.

  4. Switch the beater to low-speed and drizzle the chocolate while beating the brownie mix.

  5. Stop once the ingredients have combined.

  6. Sift the dry ingredients into the same bowl and fold them in with a spatula.

  7. Stir the batter until you get a velvety smooth consistency.

  8. Pour the mix into your baking pan.

  9. Sprinkle chocolate chunks or chips.

  10. Place it in the oven.

  11. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until done.

  12. Slice and serve with seasonal fruits.
