Chili Lime Tofu
Ingredients
- chili lime tofu
- 1 block extra firm tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- pinch of garlic powder
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400F
Remove block of tofu from packaging
Drain and press excess liquid with either a tofu press or wrap tofu in a few paper towels and place a heavy object over top to remove excess
Once tofu is drained, chop tofu into cubes and set aside
Whisk together remaining ingredients in a Tupperware container
Add tofu, seal container and shake together
Feel free to bake right away or marinade for an hour before baking
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges of tofu start to crisp up
Serve and enjoy
