Spaghetti with a Tofu Sauce
Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 10-oz block extra firm tofu
- 1 medium red onion
- 1 cup plant based milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Preparation
Cook the spaghetti according to packaging instructions
Meanwhile, add the tofu, onion, plant based milk, apple cider vinegar, garlic, nutritional yeast and cornstarch to a blender and blend until smooth
When the spaghetti is almost done, pour the sauce into a pan over a medium heat
Drain the spaghetti and transfer it to the pan with the sauce, and mix until the sauce thickens
