Spicy Ramen Bowl for Quick Lunch or Dinner

Ingredients

  • 2 portions vegan ramen noodles
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sesame seeds, to serve

Preparation

  1. Cook the ramen according to packaging instructions; drain and rinse when done.

  2. To make the sauce, stir together the ketchup, hot sauce, tamari, maple syrup, rice vinegar and water.

  3. If using, heat the sesame oil in a non-stick frying pan and add the garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Add the noodles together with the sauce, toss together, and serve.
