Crispy Spicy Cauliflower Hot Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup hot buffalo sauce

Ranch dip

  • 1 cup vegan mayo
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp dill
  • splash of unsweetened non dairy milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 450F

  2. Mix water and flour together in a large bowl, then add garlic powder, paprika, and half of the olive oil, whisk until smooth

  3. Cut cauliflower into bite-sized pieces and dunk each piece in the batter, ensuring it is thick enough to stay on but excess drips off, then lay pieces on a lined baking tray

  4. Bake for 35 minutes

  5. Mix hot buffalo sauce with the remaining olive oil in a large bowl, add the baked cauliflower, and coat each piece well

  6. Bake again for 20-30 minutes or until crispy

  7. While waiting, make the ranch dip and cut up celery

  1. Whisk all ranch dip ingredients together in a small bowl
