Vegan Chocolate Hummus with Chickpeas and Dates

Ingredients

  • 400g cooked or canned salt-free chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons nut butter (we used cashew butter)
  • a splash of plant milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • vanilla flavor or extract
  • 5 pitted dates

Preparation

  1. Throw all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth

  2. Add some chocolate chips if desired

  3. Serve with apple slices or any other dippers of your choice
