Vegan Pepperoni Pizza Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz package vegan cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup vegan mozzarella at room temperature
- 1/2 cup vegan parmesan cheese
- 8-12 vegan pepperoni
- Cooking spray
Optional toppings
- Crushed red pepper
- Fresh basil
- Extra vegan parmesan
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
In a medium-sized bowl combine the softened cream cheese, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Spread that mixture into an 8-inch skillet or any 8-inch baking dish
Pour pizza sauce on top and spread out evenly
Top with the rest of the parmesan cheese, then finish with mozzarella
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes
Remove from oven and put broiler on high
Carefully move oven rack to second highest level
Let broiler heat up for about 5 minutes
Top pizza dip with desired amount of vegan pepperoni
Spray each piece of pepperoni with cooking spray
Place in oven uncovered until cheese is bubbly and pepperoni are crispy, 2-3 minutes
