Vegan Pepperoni Pizza Dip
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz package vegan cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup vegan mozzarella
- 1/2 cup vegan parmesan cheese
- 8-12 vegan pepperoni
- Cooking spray
Optional toppings
- Crushed red pepper
- Fresh basil
- Extra vegan parmesan
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.
Spread the mixture into an 8-inch skillet or baking dish. Pour pizza sauce on top and spread evenly. Top with the remaining parmesan cheese, then add mozzarella. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and set broiler to high. Move oven rack to second highest level and let broiler heat for 5 minutes. Top with desired amount of vegan pepperoni, spray with cooking spray, and broil uncovered for 2-3 minutes until cheese is bubbly and pepperoni is crispy.
Notes
Vegan pepperoni can be substituted with crumbled vegan Italian sausage if unavailable.
