Gingerbread Biscuits
Ingredients
- 135g grapeseed oil
- 150g dark brown sugar
- 150g golden caster sugar
- 125g golden syrup
- 125ml oat milk
- 650g wholemeal flour
- 2tsp ginger
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt.
Preparation
Mix the first five ingredients together in a mixer or with a whisk if doing by hand. Then add the flour and the rest of the ingredients and mix to a fairly stuff dough. Roll out on a floured work surface and place on a baking sheet with enough room around them to spread a little. Bake at 175°C for about 10 mins. Let cool on trays for a couple of minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. -
