Sticky Vegan Meatballs
Ingredients
- 120ml cold water
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 120ml Japanese soya sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
- 4 tbsp syrup
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Preparation
Mix together 120ml cold water and 2 tbsp cornstarch. Set aside.
In a bowl, add 120ml Japanese soya sauce, 1 tbsp lime juice, 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar, 4 tbsp syrup, 2 tsp sesame oil, 2 tsp ginger powder, and 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Mix well.
Bring the mixture to a simmer. Add the water and cornstarch mix and allow it to thicken.
Fry @peasofheaven meatballs. Pour the thickened sauce over them and fry for a few more minutes.
Serve the sticky vegan meatballs warm as part of your Christmas meal.
