Asian-Inspired Tuna Sliders with Spicy Aioli

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of @portofinotuna (4 oz each), drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onion
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (for aioli)
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Slider buns
  • Lettuce leaves

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt.

  2. Mix the ingredients until well combined, then form the mixture into slider-sized patties.

  3. Heat 2 tbsp of avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Cook the tuna patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and nicely browned.

  5. While the patties are cooking, whisk together 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt, sriracha, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to make the spicy aioli.

  6. To assemble the sliders, place a cooked tuna patty on a slider bun.

  7. Top the patty with a spoonful of the spicy aioli.

  8. Add lettuce leaves to the sliders.

  9. Serve the Asian-inspired tuna sliders with your favorite sides and enjoy!
