Ultimate Trio Tortilla Chip Dip
Ingredients
For the Bean Dip
- 3 cans black beans
- 1 red onion
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Splash of lemon
- Salt, pepper
For the Guacamole
- 2 avocados
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Pinch of chili powder
- Salt, pepper
For the Pico de Gallo
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- 1 handful cilantro
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt, pepper
- 2 tbsp spicy ajvar
Preparation
Chop onion into pieces and sauté in a pan with oil.
Add the bean spices to the pan.
Add the black beans to the pan.
Allow the beans to fry and start smashing them slightly. Add a splash of water to achieve a smoother consistency.
Remove the mixture from the pan and puree it, leaving some clumps.
Place the bean dip in a flat bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Smash the avocados and mix them with lemon juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper to create the guacamole.
Chop the red onion and mix it with the chopped tomatoes for the pico de gallo.
Roughly chop the cilantro and mix it into the pico de gallo.
Add lime juice, chili powder, salt, pepper, and spicy ajvar to the pico de gallo.
Place the bean dip in a bowl.
Add the pico de gallo on top in a slightly smaller circle.
Finish with a layer of guacamole.
Serve the dip with tortilla chips or your favorite bread.
