Croissant Frittata: a Dreamy Holiday Delight

Ingredients

  • 10 eggs
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 4 large croissants
  • 6 pieces cooked bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp paprika, garlic powder, chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt and pepper
  • Green onion for garnish

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, almond milk, paprika, garlic powder, chili flakes, cooked bacon (crumbled), and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.

  3. Grease a large baking dish and layer the bottom with ripped pieces of croissant.

  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissant layer in the baking dish.

  5. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the eggs have set and the frittata is cooked through.

  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with green onions.

  8. Slice and serve.
