Mini Christmas Stollen in Glass Jars

Ingredients

Dough

  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 120 g sugar
  • 50 g finely chopped candied orange peel
  • 3 large eggs
  • 125 g quark
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp Stollen spice
  • 150 g softened butter
  • 100 g chopped almonds
  • 50 g marzipan, cut into small pieces
  • 50 g raisins soaked in rum
  • butter for greasing the glasses

Decoration

  • 80 g melted butter
  • 100 g pearl sugar

Preparation

  1. Mix and sift the flour and baking powder in a bowl.

  2. Add the sugar and stir.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, quark, vanilla sugar, Stollen spice, and finely chopped candied orange peel; mix well.

  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

  5. Add the softened butter, chopped almonds, marzipan, and rum-soaked raisins; work until smooth.

  6. Grease the glasses with butter and fill them with dough up to two-thirds.

  7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection: 160 degrees).

  8. Place the glasses on a baking sheet.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

  10. After baking, brush the Stollen with melted butter and decorate with pearl sugar.

  11. Seal the glasses.
