Mini Christmas Stollen in Glass Jars
Ingredients
Dough
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 120 g sugar
- 50 g finely chopped candied orange peel
- 3 large eggs
- 125 g quark
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp Stollen spice
- 150 g softened butter
- 100 g chopped almonds
- 50 g marzipan, cut into small pieces
- 50 g raisins soaked in rum
- butter for greasing the glasses
Decoration
- 80 g melted butter
- 100 g pearl sugar
Preparation
Mix and sift the flour and baking powder in a bowl.
Add the sugar and stir.
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, quark, vanilla sugar, Stollen spice, and finely chopped candied orange peel; mix well.
Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Add the softened butter, chopped almonds, marzipan, and rum-soaked raisins; work until smooth.
Grease the glasses with butter and fill them with dough up to two-thirds.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection: 160 degrees).
Place the glasses on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
After baking, brush the Stollen with melted butter and decorate with pearl sugar.
Seal the glasses.
