Antipasti Tree

Ingredients

  • 750gms cream cheese
  • 100gms chopped cooked artichoke hearts in oil (drained) i used a jar
  • 1 minced fresh garlic clove
  • handful chopped chives
  • salt to taste
  • to decorate:
  • 200gms mixed olives
  • 100gms sun dried tomatoes
  • pomegranate seeds
  • fresh rosemary
  • cheese & cutter to make the star

Preparation

  1. Mix the cream cheese with the chopped artichokes, garlic & chives & add salt to taste

  2. Spoon the mix into cling film and using your hands shape into a tree

  3. Next remove the cling film

  4. Smooth the ‘tree’ shape with a butter knife

  5. Poke on all your decorations

  6. Top with a cheese star

  7. Serve with crackers and/or cured meats
