Matcha Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups oat flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup garbanzo flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 T ground chia or flax seeds
- 1 T baking powder
- pinch sea salt
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, and add
- 2 1/2 cups almond milk
- 1 t almond extract
- 3 T date paste or maple syrup
Preparation
Mix until well combined
Take half of the batter and pour it into another bowl. Add 1-2 t food grade matcha (I used the organic @aiyamatcha powder) and stir well
Following your waffle maker's direction, pour 1/4 cup regular batter on one side of the iron, followed by 1/4 cup of matcha batter on the other. Cook as crispy and delicious
