Vegan Chocolate Marble Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups of wholemeal flour or buckwheat flour
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp of soy or nut milk
- 3 large ripe bananas
- 2 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup of coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup of cacao
- 1 extra banana to top
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Line a loaf tin with baking paper.
In a blender, mash the bananas (or use a fork).
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients together, then add the mashed bananas and the wet ingredients (except the cacao).
Set aside half of the batter, then add the cacao to the remaining batter.
Spoon a layer of the banana batter, followed by a layer of chocolate batter, and continue alternating until you use both batters.
Top with sliced banana.
Bake in the oven for 60 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
