Crispy Oven-Baked Potato Wedges
Ingredients
- 4 medium sized yellow potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425ºF/220ºC.
Scrub and wash potatoes well, pat dry, cut into wedges (each potato into 8-10 wedges), and toss with 2 tablespoons olive oil to coat, reserving 1 tablespoon for the pan.
In a small bowl, stir together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Sprinkle the mixture over the oiled potato wedges and toss to coat.
Prepare a baking sheet with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil, arrange potato wedges to stand on the skin side; if some fall over, it's okay.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are crisp and golden, and sides are golden.
Remove from heat and serve, optionally sprinkling a little extra salt.
