Easy Nutty Noodle Sauce Variation
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup natural unsweetened nut or seed butter
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4” piece of fresh ginger
- 1 Tbsp hot sauce or a pinch of wasabi, optional
Preparation
Choose your favorite nut or seed butter, such as peanut, almond, cashew, or sunflower butter.
Blend or whisk all ingredients until smooth.
If no blender is available, finely chop the garlic and ginger, then mix all ingredients well with a fork.
Optionally, omit hot sauce or wasabi for a kid-friendly version; add it later to individual servings for spice.
