Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional tsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the above ingredients besides the mushrooms. Mix everything together

  2. Put the mushrooms in a shallow bowl or a ziplock bag

  3. Add the mixture and make sure the whole mushroom is coated

  4. Marinate for 30 mins

  5. Add olive oil to a grill skillet (or regular skillet) and cook 5 minutes on each side over medium heat

  6. Served here with 2 sweet potatoes + 2 regular potatoes cut into fries and coated with 3 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Baked for 40 minutes, flipped halfway through.I always eat these burgers fresh, I’ve never saved them
