Shredded King Oyster Mushroom Tacos
Ingredients
- King oyster mushrooms
Sauce
- Garlic powder or minced garlic
- Dark soy sauce, tamari or salsa maggie
- Cumin powder
- Onion powder
- Black pepper
- Chili powder (optional)
- Avocado oil
Taco components
- Corn tortillas
- Onion
- Cilantro
- Salsa of choice
- Lime wedges
Preparation
Shred the king oyster mushrooms using a fork, which takes about 10 minutes.
Add the shredded mushrooms and all sauce ingredients to a pan.
Cook everything in the pan for less than 7 minutes until the mixture is flavorful and heated through.
Warm the corn tortillas.
Assemble the tacos by adding the cooked mushroom mixture, chopped onion, cilantro, salsa, and lime wedges to the tortillas.
Serve immediately.
