Vegan Hollandaise Sauce for Asparagus
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp plant-based butter
- 2.5 tbsp flour
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 110 ml soy cream
- 1 tsp mustard
- 2.5 tbsp white wine
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt, pepper
Preparation
Melt the butter in a pot
Add the flour and mix well to avoid lumps
Slowly add the vegetable broth and keep stirring
Bring to a boil then add the remaining ingredients gradually
Add water if needed to achieve desired consistency
Season with salt and pepper
Cook for about 5 more minutes while stirring
