Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ▫️1/4 cup blanched and slivered almonds (makes it thick and creamy)
  • ▫️4 Medjool dates, pitted (or 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup)
  • ▫️2 tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
  • ▫️1 tablespoon cacao nibs
  • ▫️1 tablespoon raw almond butter
  • ▫️1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ▫️1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ▫️tiny pinch of salt
  • ▫️1 cup frozen riced cauliflower (you won't taste it at all - promise)
  • ▫️1 cup unsweetened, plain homemade almond milk
  • ▫️2 cups ice cubes
  • ▫️toppings: shredded coconut + dark chocolate covered chia seeds (like sprinkles!)

Preparation

  1. In a high speed blender add all ingredients except ice in the order listed (chia seeds first, almond milk last). Blend on smoothie setting if you have that or blend on low to high speed until smooth and creamy. Add ice and blend again until no ice chunks remain. Taste and adjust flavors as needed

  2. Pour into a bowl and garnish with shredded coconut and dark chocolate covered chia seeds. Enjoy immediately with a spoon
