Easy Homemade Hummus with Tahini and Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained
  • 2 heaped tbsp tahini
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Water

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth, starting with about 1/8 cup water and adding more until the desired consistency is reached.

  2. Note: Sometimes the olive oil can be omitted, depending on preference.
