Brazilian Guava Coconut Volcano Cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large can guava paste
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package (250 g) shredded coconut
- 10 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Batter
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form
Add egg yolks, sugar, and margarine; beat well for 3 minutes
Turn off the mixer and add milk, flour, and baking powder; mix well
Pour the batter into a greased and floured 25x35 cm rectangular pan
Toppings
Place the guava paste cut into strips on top of the batter, spread the sweetened condensed milk, and sprinkle the shredded coconut
Mix water and vanilla extract; pour over the cake
Baking
Bake in a medium oven
