Very Tasty Brazilian Well Married Cake

Ingredients

Cake batter

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup hot milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Filling

  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons light brown sugar

Preparation

Cake batter

  1. Separate egg whites and yolks into different bowls

  2. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form

  3. Add egg yolks one at a time without stopping the beaters

  4. Add sugar and beat until the mixture turns pale

  5. Add vanilla extract

  6. Gently mix in flour

  7. Pour in hot milk mixed with baking powder and beat until smooth

  8. Pour batter into a greased and floured pan

  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for one hour

Filling and assembly

  1. Mix all filling ingredients and cook over low heat until it comes to a boil

  2. Cut the baked cake into layers

  3. Spread filling between the layers

  4. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top for decoration
