Savory Leek Flan with White Sauce
Ingredients
- 150g sautéed leeks
- 100g whole milk
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper
- Half tablespoon flour
- 70g cheese
White sauce
- 25g butter
- 25g flour
- 250g whole milk
- 50ml cream
- Cheese to taste
Preparation
Mix the sautéed leeks, whole milk, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, and flour in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into a greased oven-safe dish.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes or until set and golden.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
Gradually add whole milk and cream, whisking constantly until thickened.
Add cheese to the sauce and stir until melted.
Serve the leek flan with the white sauce.
