Green Chutney Kebab Rolls
Ingredients
- 500gms puff pastry
- Green chutney (see previous post)
Kebab mix
- 500gms turkey mince/vegan alternative
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 tsp minced garlic
- 1-2 tsp minced ginger
- 4 tsp garam masala
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 egg for brushing (or milk with a little turmeric for color)
- Nigella seeds
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Mix all the kebab mix ingredients together well.
Shape the kebab mix into 16 small sausage shapes.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 16 equal-sized squares.
Spread about 1 tablespoon of green chutney onto each square of pastry.
Roll the pastry and seal the edges with a little egg wash.
Cut three slices across the top of each roll with a knife, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle with nigella seeds.
Place the rolls on a baking tray and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30-35 minutes or until cooked through.
Serve the rolls with a bowl of extra chutney for dipping.
