Minced Meat Tarka Fry
Ingredients
Marinade
- 500 grams mince
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon kasuri methi
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tomatoes blended
Tarka
- 3-4 tablespoons oil
- green chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 3 garlic sliced
- 1 small piece ginger sliced
- 6 button chilies
- 3-4 thin green chili cut
Preparation
Marinate the mince with the marinade ingredients for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Cook the marinated mince on low flame for 30-35 minutes, mixing in between.
Increase heat to high and bhunofy until well browned, adding oil if needed.
Tarka
Heat 3-4 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds, sliced garlic, sliced ginger, green chilies, and button chilies.
Cook the tarka until fragrant and the ingredients are slightly browned.
