Indian Spiced Beef Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh beef
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 stalks curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon masala
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Water as needed, warm
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pure ghee (optional)

Ground spices

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 7 cm ginger
  • 10 chilies

Preparation

  1. Grind the spices.

  2. Prepare a pan, add oil, then add onion, curry leaves, cumin, and mustard seeds.

  3. Add the ground spice paste, beef, turmeric powder, masala, salt, and mix well.

  4. When the beef is half cooked, add warm water and tomato.

  5. Cook until the beef is done and the mixture is dry.

  6. It is ready to serve.
