Quick Chickpea Masala Naan Burger

Ingredients

Naan burger

  • Chickpea Masala burgers
  • Naan rounds
  • Pickled red onion
  • Heirloom tomatoes
  • Fresh parsley

Raita

  • 1/2 cup dairy-free plain yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Persian cucumber

Preparation

  1. Add all raita ingredients except cucumber to a bowl and mix to combine, then add cucumber and fold in, and refrigerate until needed.

  2. Preheat a nonstick pan or grill with a light amount of oil over medium-high heat, then cook the burger on each side for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.

  3. Toast the naan rounds, add raita followed by fresh parsley, the burger, heirloom tomato, and pickled onion, then serve and enjoy.

Notes

  1. This burger uses pre-made Chickpea Masala patties and is ready in 10 minutes with 9g of plant protein per patty.
