Vegan Bean Burger Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 can of kidney beans
  • 60 g oat flakes (tender)
  • 1 onion
  • 25g flour
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp caraway
  • Salt and pepper

Toppings

  • Grilled vegetables (peppers, zucchini, onions) as desired
  • Tomato spread as desired
  • Vegan mayonnaise as desired
  • Burger buns

Preparation

  1. Mash or mix the kidney beans into a mass.

  2. Add all other ingredients and knead into a dough. Let it rest for 5 minutes and form into patties.

  3. Heat up a contact grill, brush with a little oil, and fry the patties. Alternatively, fry them in a pan.

  4. Top the burger with desired toppings.
