Vegan Bean Burger Patties
Ingredients
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 60 g oat flakes (tender)
- 1 onion
- 25g flour
- 1 clove of garlic
- oil for frying
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp vegetable broth
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp caraway
- Salt and pepper
Toppings
- Grilled vegetables (peppers, zucchini, onions) as desired
- Tomato spread as desired
- Vegan mayonnaise as desired
- Burger buns
Preparation
Mash or mix the kidney beans into a mass.
Add all other ingredients and knead into a dough. Let it rest for 5 minutes and form into patties.
Heat up a contact grill, brush with a little oil, and fry the patties. Alternatively, fry them in a pan.
Top the burger with desired toppings.
