Vegan Kidney Bean Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 60 g oat flakes
- 1 onion
- 25g flour
- 1 clove of garlic
- oil for frying
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp vegetable broth
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp caraway
- salt and pepper to taste
Toppings
- grilled vegetables as desired (peppers, zucchini, onions)
- tomato spread as desired
- vegan mayonnaise as desired
- burger buns
Preparation
Mash or mix kidney beans into a mass.
Add all other ingredients and knead into a dough. Let rest for 5 minutes and form patties.
Heat up the contact grill, brush with a little oil and fry the patties. Alternatively, fry in a pan.
Top the burger as desired.
