Vegan Chocolate Almond Butter Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil or vegan butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup cacao powder
- 1 1/2 cups spelt flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 2 Tbsp coconut cream
- 2 Tbsp coconut milk
- A small slab of dark chocolate, chopped
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 170°C and line a baking tray
Mix the melted butter or oil, sugars, and vanilla essence together in a bowl
Add all the other ingredients and make sure there are no lumps
Roll out dough balls and flatten them a bit
Bake for 8-10 minutes
