Vegan Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup wholemeal flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/3 cup apple sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.
Add the apple sauce and coconut oil.
Combine using your hands to achieve a dough-like consistency.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Use your hands to form 6 cookies and place them on the prepared tray.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until they’re baked; they will harden as they cool.
