Kale Basil Pesto with Almonds and Garlic

Ingredients

  • 2 cups torn kale (no stems) and basil, combined
  • 1 tsp water, filtered or more
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Himalayan Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup raw almonds

Preparation

  1. Optional: Soak almonds for 4 hours if desired.

  2. Pulse the kale, basil, water, salt, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor until smooth.

  3. Add the almonds and pulse until the almonds are ground to desired consistency.

  4. Enjoy!
