Kale Basil Pesto with Almonds and Garlic
Ingredients
- 2 cups torn kale (no stems) and basil, combined
- 1 tsp water, filtered or more
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Himalayan Salt, to taste
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup raw almonds
Preparation
Optional: Soak almonds for 4 hours if desired.
Pulse the kale, basil, water, salt, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor until smooth.
Add the almonds and pulse until the almonds are ground to desired consistency.
