Black Bean and Corn Burgers⁣

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn⁣
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce⁣
  • 1 lime, juiced ⁣
  • 1/2 cup flour⁣
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs ⁣
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin⁣
  • 1 tsp dried oregano ⁣
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika ⁣
  • 1 tsp chili powder⁣
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped⁣
  • 1/2 red malbec wine⁣

Preparation

  1. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until onions become translucent. Reduce to lowest heat setting.⁣

  2. Place beans in a large bowl and rough mash.⁣

  3. Add mashed beans and remaining ingredients ACCEPT the wine to onion sauté and combine well. ⁣

  4. Remove from heat, transfer to bowl, work the wine in. ⁣

  5. Form burgers patties ⁣

  6. You can bake these at 375 on parchment paper for 25 minutes then flip and cook and additional 15 minutes. ⁣

  7. I cooked mine on the grill and they were super delicious! ⁣
