Black Bean and Corn Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 red malbec wine
Preparation
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until onions become translucent. Reduce to lowest heat setting.
Place beans in a large bowl and rough mash.
Add mashed beans and remaining ingredients ACCEPT the wine to onion sauté and combine well.
Remove from heat, transfer to bowl, work the wine in.
Form burgers patties
You can bake these at 375 on parchment paper for 25 minutes then flip and cook and additional 15 minutes.
I cooked mine on the grill and they were super delicious!
