Sticky Orange Tofu with Rice and Broccoli
Ingredients
- 1 pack Cauldron foods tofu
- Juice of 1 orange
- 2-inch piece of ginger
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1-2 tbsp sriracha chili sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 3 tbsp tamari
- 150ml water
- Sesame oil
Garnish
- Sesame seeds
- Spring onion
Preparation
Drain the tofu well for 10 minutes while preparing the other ingredients.
Finely cut the garlic and ginger.
Slice the spring onion.
Cut the tofu into bite-sized chunks, heat a pan, add sesame oil, and fry until brown and slightly crispy, about 10 minutes. Then add the garlic and ginger and cook for a further 3 minutes, stirring often.
Sprinkle over the cornstarch and cook until no white bits remain. Add the soy sauce, chili sauces, orange juice, and water, stir well. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Serve with brown rice and steamed broccoli or other greens.
