Crispy Salmon with Avocado Salsa
Ingredients
- Salmon
- Chili powder
- Garlic powder
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil
- 1 diced tomato
- Jalapeño
- 1/2 small red onion
- 1 diced avocado
- Lime
Preparation
Pat the salmon dry and season with chili powder, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat, then lower the temperature and add salmon skin side up.
Cook for 4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the salsa ingredients and squeeze with lime; season as needed.
For baking alternative: Pat salmon dry, rub with oil and spices, and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 18 minutes.
