Baked Chicken Stuffed Toast Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 packet toast bread
  • 1 piece ground chicken fillet
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/2 chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chicken spice
  • 2 tablespoons cream or kaymak

Topping

  • 2 cups liquid cream
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Preparation

  1. Place the wire rack in the oven, preheat to 180°C, and prepare a medium-sized baking dish.

  2. In a skillet, heat the oil and add the chicken, garlic, and onion; stir to mix and sauté until chicken is lightly browned. Add oregano or basil, chicken spice, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper; stir until chicken is cooked.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a dish, add green pepper, olives, parsley, and cream or kaymak; stir the ingredients together.

  4. Using a knife, remove the brown edges from the toast slices, use a rolling pin to press and thin the slices, add the filling, and roll into roll shapes.

  5. Arrange the rolls in the baking dish. In a bowl, mix the liquid cream, cottage cheese, and mozzarella cheese, then spread it over the rolls.

  6. Place the dish in the oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown, then serve.
