Baked Chicken Stuffed Toast Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 packet toast bread
- 1 piece ground chicken fillet
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon chicken spice
- 2 tablespoons cream or kaymak
Topping
- 2 cups liquid cream
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Place the wire rack in the oven, preheat to 180°C, and prepare a medium-sized baking dish.
In a skillet, heat the oil and add the chicken, garlic, and onion; stir to mix and sauté until chicken is lightly browned. Add oregano or basil, chicken spice, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper; stir until chicken is cooked.
Transfer the mixture to a dish, add green pepper, olives, parsley, and cream or kaymak; stir the ingredients together.
Using a knife, remove the brown edges from the toast slices, use a rolling pin to press and thin the slices, add the filling, and roll into roll shapes.
Arrange the rolls in the baking dish. In a bowl, mix the liquid cream, cottage cheese, and mozzarella cheese, then spread it over the rolls.
Place the dish in the oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown, then serve.
