Vegan Naked Apples Layer Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 + 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 tsp applecider vinegar
  • 4 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups plant based milk
  • ingredients filling :
  • 6 apples
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • ingredients frosting : - 3 tbsp vegan butter
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon - method : - preheat oven at 350 f, lined and grease tin cakes.

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven at 350 F, lined and grease tin cakes

  2. In a bowl pour dry ingredients stir, in a second one pour wet stir. Then combine and whisk until well combine. Don't overmix. Pour into cake tins

  3. Bake for about 20-25 min or until toothpick comes out clean and golden color. Demold and let cool down completely before frosting

  4. APPLES : Peel and cut apples into cubes. Pour a bit of vegan butter into pan, heat on medium. Add apples, stir and cook few minutes. Then add agave syrup and cinnamon (1tsp). Stir again and cook until soft apples. Set aside

  5. FROSTING : Pour vegan butter into a bowl, whisk with a hand mixer. Add icing sugar step by step and whisk. Add cinnamon (2 tsp) and whisk last time

  6. CAKE DRESSING : Place one cake on a plate, spread frosting on top and apples, place second cake on top and proceed until no more cake. Frost the cake entirely

  7. Decorate and enjoy :)
