Lentil and Vegetable Mash for Baby and Family

Ingredients

  • split red lentils
  • plain water
  • chopped white onions
  • ghee
  • carrots
  • green beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • coriander
  • fresh green chillies

Preparation

  1. Cook split red lentils in a pressure cooker with plain water.

  2. Stir fry chopped white onions in ghee.

  3. Add steamed carrots and green beans.

  4. Add the cooked lentils and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.

  5. Add coriander.

  6. Blend the mixture for the baby using a Nutribullet.

  7. Add fresh green chillies for the adult version.
