Crispy Air Fryer Okra Fries with Turmeric

Ingredients

  • 400 grams okra
  • 4 tablespoons chickpea flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

Optional additions

  • Chaat masala
  • Coriander
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala

Preparation

  1. Wash the okra well and slice in half.

  2. Rinse again and place in a bowl.

  3. Drizzle over the oil and add the chickpea flour.

  4. Mix well until all the flour is coating the okra.

  5. Cook in air fryer at 180°C for 15 minutes until crispy. Alternatively, bake in oven if no air fryer available.

  6. For ultimate crispness, cook only one layer at a time.
