Almond Butter Stuffed Chocolate Dates

Ingredients

  • Medjool dates
  • Almond butter, pilli nut butter or peanut butter
  • Chocolate - 70% dark
  • Optional- freeze dried raspberries, dried flowers or fancy salt

Preparation

  1. Pit the dates, scoop in the middle nut butter or whole nuts even. Freeze for 1 hour on a lined baking tray.

  2. Melt chocolate in a heat proof bowl. I do this by heating 2cm water in a small pot, and sitting the bowl on top of the bowl. The bowl should not touch the water.

  3. Once the choc is completely melted dip in the dates.

  4. Top with the optional ingredients.

  5. Store in the fridge in warmer weather, on just in an airtight container in the pantry in winter.
