Easy Homemade Vanilla Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Frosting
- 100 grams soft cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
Garnish
- colored candy
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare cupcake molds.
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a bowl, place the eggs, milk, oil, sugar, and vanilla.
Using a hand whisk, beat until the ingredients are well combined.
Add the flour mixture and stir to mix. Do not overmix.
Distribute the batter into the molds.
Bake for 20-22 minutes, then let cool completely before decorating.
For the frosting: in a bowl, place the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Use a whisk to beat until smooth, then gradually add milk to achieve the desired consistency.
Spread the frosting on top of the cupcakes and sprinkle with the candy.
