Easy Homemade Vanilla Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Frosting

  • 100 grams soft cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Garnish

  • colored candy

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare cupcake molds.

  2. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a bowl, place the eggs, milk, oil, sugar, and vanilla.

  4. Using a hand whisk, beat until the ingredients are well combined.

  5. Add the flour mixture and stir to mix. Do not overmix.

  6. Distribute the batter into the molds.

  7. Bake for 20-22 minutes, then let cool completely before decorating.

  8. For the frosting: in a bowl, place the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Use a whisk to beat until smooth, then gradually add milk to achieve the desired consistency.

  9. Spread the frosting on top of the cupcakes and sprinkle with the candy.
