Marble Cake in Blender

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fine-grained sugar
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation

  1. Set the middle rack and preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Use a 12-cup mold with a hole in the middle, grease the mold with butter then sprinkle flour, and set aside.

  3. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and set aside.

  4. In the blender pitcher, put the eggs and vanilla, and blend for a few minutes until the mixture is fluffy and light-colored.

  5. Add the sugar and continue blending for a few minutes.

  6. Add the oil and continue blending until mixed.

  7. Add the milk and continue blending until mixed.

  8. Add the vinegar and continue blending until mixed.

  9. Pour the mixture into a deep bowl.

  10. Add a third of the flour, using a hand whisk stir until the flour disappears and repeat until all flour is used.

  11. Pour about three-quarters of the cake mixture into the mold.

  12. Add the cocoa to the remaining mixture and stir to mix.

  13. Pour the cocoa mixture over the cake and using a knife, swirl the mixture to mix white and black.

  14. Bake the cake for 50-60 minutes and test doneness with a wooden stick.
